Professor Phillippa Howden Chapman gave a talk to the Fabian Society in Auckland on the development of Kāinga Ora - homes and communities, NZ's largest Crown Entity. She discussed the ambitious programme New Zealand's largest public housing developer has undertaken over the past six years to create high quality public housing and communities. She outlined the serious economic, social, and cultural repercussions of the Government's political decision to disestablish the organisation. 

Philippa Howden-Chapman was a director on the Board of Kāinga Ora - homes and communities for six years and before that the board of Housing NZ, resigning in June 2024.
